In this tutorial, we will show you how to create a shattering text or image animation using Adobe After Effects. Follow these steps to achieve the desired effect.

First, create a new full HD composition. Next, create and pre-compose a new solid layer to serve as a guide. Move all your attributes to your composition. Use the pen tool to draw the shattering pattern. Experiment with different settings, but ensure it still looks realistic. Mask your pattern, expand your masks, and adjust the spacing.
