Creating a Hyper Zoom Effect with Premiere Pro
In this video, we will show you how to create a hyper zoom transition with a glitch effect in Adobe Premiere Pro. We will cover the hyper zoom and glitch effects separately. However, since they are modular, you can easily combine the glitch effect with the hyper zoom.
You can download and use the hyper glitch zoom effect preset if you prefer, but this tutorial will teach you how to create it from scratch. Start by creating a new adjustment layer in the Project Manager and place it at the beginning of your second clip. Ensure that the adjustment layer is about five frames long.
Apply the mirror effect to your adjustment layer and ensure that your layers are properly aligned. The effectiveness of the effect will depend on the footage you use.
