In this tutorial, we will show you how to create the video through text effect using Adobe Premiere Pro. This effect can also be applied to objects that are black and white.

Our goal is to show your video through the white parts of your text or object. This effect is also known as Alpha Matte or Luma Matte, depending on the desired outcome.

To begin, drag your video into a new timeline in Premiere Pro. Next, create a new text layer using the text tool and reposition your text. Use the center align option to center your text. Ensure that your text remains readable while your video is playing.
