In this tutorial, we will show you how to create the freeze frame title effect in Adobe After Effects. We will provide a link to the video file used for this tutorial so you can follow along.

Once you have secured the video file you want to use, drag it into a new composition in After Effects and rename it to "main comp." Our aim is to freeze frame your footage while displaying your name or the text of your choice.

Use the pen tool to key out yourself at your chosen point in the timeline. Freeze the frame so that the video background continues playing. Begin applying effects to your footage, such as chromatic aberration and Gaussian blur.
